Cougar Softball Field
Cougar Field is the home to the Kean University softball program and its construction was completed in time for the 2008 season. This marked the first time in the history of the program that the softball team had its home field on the Main Campus after playing for many years at the East Campus. With a press box and seating for 200, the field is one of the nicest in Division III. The skin infield is incorporated with the same dirt that is used in the new Yankee Stadium and the outfield and foul territory is FieldTurf which allows the program a perfect playing surface. In the summer of 2014, lighting was added to round out the complex.
