Men's Lacrosse Cruises Past SUNY Canton

Union, N.J. (4/7/18) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team cruised to their sixth straight win defeating SUNY Canton by the final of 21-4 on Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars (9-2) surged to a 13-1 halftime lead with a string of 10 straight goals spanning the first and second quarters.  Kean would add two more before the run was snapped midway through the third quarter.

Kean saw 41 players in action with senior Scott Royster leading the way with a game-high three goals.  Tyler Roberto and Jake Frankovits each had two goals and two assists. In total 15 different players had a hand in scoring in today's action. 

Matt Palmieri led Kean with seven groundballs and Max McNicholas caused five turnovers in today's action.

For the Roos (7-4) Hunter Yerdon had eight groundballs while Jake Sutton scored two goals.

The Cougars enjoy a short break and return to action on Sunday, April 15th, hosting Castleton University.
