Dave Nichols begins is in this third season as an assistant coach with the Cougars.

Nichols competed in 69 games in goal as a four year athlete for Kean from 2005-2008.  In that time, Nichols, a two-time Skyline Conference all-star, tallied 786 saves in over 3,500 minutes of action.  Nichols capped off his senior season with KU's first conference championship in over 15 years and Kean's first trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Nichols is earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities from Kean in 2009.
