Kean (34-7) rallied on five hits with the aid of a throwing error.  With one out, Samantha Krakower lined a hit through the left side and Amanda Berezny followed with a blooper down the right field line.  Sara Vocisano inched the Cougars closer with an RBI single to center that hit off the top of the wall.  Olivia Zengel loaded the bases with a bunt single and each runner moved up a base on a throwing error to knot the game at three-all.  Later with two outs and runners on second and third, Sabo (pictured left) came up in the clutch with a bunt single of her own, scoring Vocisano who avoided the tag, the only play Neumann had, for the game-winner.

Neumann (28-15) tied the game at one-all in the top of the sixth on a two-out, bases loaded single from pinch-hitter Kendall Boardman.  The Knights took their first lead of the day in the top of the seventh with a solo homer from Becky Guinto and an RBI double from Jackie Schneider, all with two outs.

Earlier, Cayleen Rizo lined a two-out, solo shot in the bottom of the first for the game's first run.  It was her third of the season.  She appeared to have hit a two run blast in the sixth but it was ruled foul.

Senior Shannon McMahon (23-2) earned the complete game win.  She allowed three runs and 10 hits.

Jen Sieminski suffered the loss.  Sieminski (11-7) allowed four runs, three earned, on nine hits.

For the Knights, Kara Grogan, Julia Cox and Schneider each had two hits.

Kean will now face Christopher Newport in game three, scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m.  Neumann will face Mt. St. Mary College at 1:30 p.m. in an elimination game.
