Angelica Bermudez appears on the sidelines for the first time in 2011-12.
Bermudez was recently selected as a member of the Puerto Rico National Team after playing nine games for Atléticas de San Germán in Puerto Rico since August. Bermudez, who averaged 14.3 points and 8.8 rebounds in nine games for San Germán, was drafted third in the June 15th draft and will now have the opportunity to possibly play in the Summer Olympics in 2012. San German, of the National Superior Basketball Female (BSNF) in Puerto Rico, posted a 6-3 record with Bermudez in the lineup.
A four-year letterwinner for the Cougars, Bermudez scored 776 career points and had 661 rebounds in 119 career games. Kean posted a 103-19 record over her career and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament every season.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Kean.
