Four Cougars Earn NJAC First-Team Honors

Pitman, N.J. (5/8/12) – Juniors Lyndsey Cannon and Jules Keeley, sophomore Ciara Mastrodomenico and freshman Marisa DeAngelis earned First-Team New Jersey Athletic Conference honors as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Cannon set new single season records with 85 goals and 108 points, while becoming the program's all-time leader with 66 career assists this year.  She enters her senior year two points shy of becoming the all-time points leader (currently with 283) and is just four goals breaking the all-time record in goals (currently with 217).  Cannon was also named a first-team Skyline selection.

Keeley, who was also named the Goalkeeper of the Year, currently ranks second in the NJAC in both overall save percentage (.466) and saves per game (8.59). Against NJAC competition, Keeley ranked second in the league in saves per game (9.80).

Mastrodomenico earned all-conference honors for the first time after playing and starting all 18 games this season.  She collected 46 draw controls as well as 35 groundballs.  Mastrodomenico also scored 46 goals in addition to five assists.

DeAngelis earns NJAC honors in addition to first-team Skyline honors.  She contributed with 53 draw controls as well as 27 groundballs during her rookie season.  She caused 11 turnovers and recorded nine goals and four assists.
