Women's Tennis Suffers Defeat to TCNJ

Union, N.J. (9/2/17) - The Kean University Women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to The College of New Jersey in the season opener for the Cougars on Saturday.

The Lions (2-0, 2-0 NJAC) have won 35 straight conference crowns since the inception of women's tennis as a league sport back in 1982. TCNJ extended its NJAC winning-streak to 173 consecutive league matches - a streak that spans the entire history of conference play with wins last night (vs. Rutgers-Camden) and this afternoon at Kean.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Brooklyn College in non-conference action.
