Cougars Cruise Past Arcadia, 95-60
GLENSIDE, PA. - (11/28/06) Sophomore guard Melissa Beyruti
(Union City, N.J.) scored a game-high 20 points to lead five
players in double figures, as the Kean University women's
basketball team defeated host Arcadia University, 95-60, in
non-conference action on Tuesday evening. The Cougars improved to
4-0 this season, as they scored at least 95 points for the second
straight contest.
Freshman guard Cardiss Jackman (Tobyhanna, Pa.) added a career-high
14 points and five rebounds, while senior forward Chi Clark
(Maplewood, N.J.) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12
rebounds.
Freshmen Jan Bush (Willow Grove, Pa.) and Colby Greenlee
(Stroudsburg, Pa.) chipped in with 11 points and 10 points,
respectively, while Greenlee also added a career-high five
assists.
The Cougars return to action on Saturday, December 2, when they
host Ramapo College in the New Jersey Athletic Conference opener
for both teams. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m.
