Offensive Surge Sends Kean Past Drew, 11-2

Clark (Livingston, N.J.) drove in four runs as the Kean
University baseball team played for the first time in over 10 days
defeating host Drew University, 11-2, Monday afternoon.
With the win the Cougars improve to 7-2, while the loss drops the
Rangers to 4-7.
Kean led throughout plating runs in the fourth, fifth, sixth and
ninth innings.
Clark was 2-for-3 with four RBI including a double and homerun.
Freshman Nick Nolan (Linden, N.J.) continued his
offensive power with a 2-for-2 performance. He drove in three and
also had a homerun.
Junior Eric Ammirata (Hamilton, N.J.) had three
hits while senior Perry Schatzow (Ocean Twp.,
N.J.) had two RBI.
Senior Joe Augustine (Highland Park, N.J.) picked
up his second win. Augustine (2-1) tossed six innings allowing just
one run and three hits. He also fanned nine and walked no one.
The Cougars will remain in action and head to Connecticut to take
on Eastern Connecticut State University at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday,
March 27th.
