inning with a single and moved around the bases on two outs in
typical small ball fashion. Sophomore Dan Mattonelli
(Hamilton, N.J.) delivered and brought home Clark with an
RBI single. Kean tacked on an insurance run in the top of the
seventh on a sacrifice fly from senior Aaron Richard
(Plainfield, N.J.) who drove in senior Perry
Schatzow (Ocean Twp., N.J.) who reached on a leadoff
single.
Zeffiro earned the win in relief. He tossed 2
1/3 innings of shutout ball allowing just two hits to improve to
3-1. He also fanned three and walked no one.
Offensively Richard finished with three RBI while freshman
Nick Nolan (Linden, N.J.) smashed his sixth
homerun of the season.

and never looked back. Schatzow collected three hits and
three RBI while Nolan finished with two doubles and two RBI.
