Cougars Cruise Past John Jay,

Naimah Clemons (Newark, N.J.) scored a game-high
17 points as the Kean University women's basketball team broke the
century mark, defeating host John Jay College, 104-30.
Freshman Nicol Biesek (South Pasadena, Calif.)
scored the first bucket of the game just eight seconds into the
action and the Cougars (3-1) didn't look back, scoring 51 points in
the first 20 minutes of play.
In all 17 members of the Cougar squad saw action this evening.
Junior Tiffany Patrick (Piscataway, N.J.)
recorded her second straight double-double with 14 points and 14
rebounds to go along with four steals. Biesek (pictured
right) finished the game with 11 points and four assists while
teammate Angelica Bermudez (Jersey City, N.J.)
added nine points and five rebounds.
Kean enjoys some time off during the holiday break and will open
New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action on Wednesday, December
2nd at 6 p.m. against Rutgers-Camden.
