Women's Lacrosse Falls To
Muhlenberg
Allentown, Pa. (3/18/09) - Muhlenberg
College scored fifteen goals in the first half on their way to
defeating Kean University, 20-5, Wednesday afternoon.
The Mules (3-1) scored three quick goals before Kean jumped on
the board with a free position goal from sophomore Amanda
South (Fairless, Pa.). Muhlenberg then dominated the
rest of the way scoring twelve straight before the Cougars (0-4)
scored two before the break.
Kean was led by South who had three points (two goals and an
assist) and freshman Nicole Torre (Toms River,
N.J.) (pictured right) who also had three points (two
goals and an assist).
The Cougars will take on FDU College at Florham on Friday, March
20th at 1 p.m.
