THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (4/8/09) - Senior attack
Stephanie Cirino (Warminster, Pa.) 
scored six goals to lead the Kean University women's lacrosse team
to a 14-0 victory over SUNY Maritime in Skyline Conference action
on Wednesday evening.
Sophomore Amanda South (Fairless, Pa.) dished
out five assist for the Cougars (4-7, 2-2 Skyline).
Kean took a 11-0 lead at halftime over Maritime (2-6, 1-2
Skyline), as Cirino (pictured right) netted four of the first five
goals for the Cougars.
In the victory, sophomore Kelly Mataya (Woodland Park,
N.J.) and junior Julie Bachovchin (Piscataway,
N.J.) each added two goals.
Freshmen Gina Petrizzo (Hopatcong, N.J.) and
Sabrina Vargas (Elizabeth, N.J.) split time in
goal and combined to make eight saves.
The Cougars return to Skyline Conference action on Friday, April
10, when they host Polytechnic Institute of NYU at 3 p.m.
