#2 Wooster Gets Past #4 Kean,

Dylan Laguna (Edison, N.J.) was 3-for-4 but it
wasn't enough as the Cougars dropped their third straight
game by the final of 4-1 to #2 The College of Wooster, Sunday
evening at the Snowbird Baseball Classic.
Trailing 1-0 heading into the top of the sixth, the Laguna
delivered his first homerun of the season, a two out, solo shot to
dead centerfield to tie the game at one. That would be as
close as the Cougars would get however, as the Scots (6-0) scored
two in their half of the sixth and added another in the eighth.
Senior Stephen Montalbano (North Brunswick,
N.J.) suffered the loss. Montalbano (1-1) tossed a
complete game giving up seven hits and four runs, three earned,
with five strikeouts and two walks.
The Cougars will face off again against Wooster on Monday at 3
p.m.
