In the first half, sophomore midfielder Michelle Lubrano scored two of Rowan's first three goals in the opening 10 minutes.  After Rowan extended the lead to 7-0 on a goal by Hershey with 3:04 remaining in the half, Kean freshman Lyndsey Cannon (pictured right) netted the team's first goal with 35 seconds left in the half to pull the Cougars to within 7-1 at the break.

The Cougars opened the second half with an unassisted goal by junior Erica Kelly to cut the deficit to five goals at 7-2, before Hershey netted the first of three straight Rowan goals to extend the lead out to 10-2.  A free-position goal by Kean senior Julie Bachovchin pulled Kean to within 10-3, however Rowan netted the final four goals, including two by Morris.
