Hoboken, N.J. (9/12/10) – In a battle of unbeaten teams, Stevens Institute of Technology prevailed and defeated the Kean women's soccer team, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in the Stevens Engineering Cup.

The match's lone goal came off a penalty kick from Stevens (6-0) in the 36^th minute.

Senior keeper Leandra Russo recorded seven saves in Kean's first loss of the season (4-1-1).

The Cougars will face off against the University of Scranton at home on Wednesday evening.
