hockey team posted their sixth win of the season as they shutout
visiting Mercy College, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at Kean Alumni
Stadium.
All of today's scoring came in the first half of action as
senior Amie Hoch (pictured right) tallied what
would be the game-winner just under four minutes into the match off
a deflection in front of the cage. Senior Erica Kelly added the second goal of the match as Kean fired off
three straight shots, with Kelly capitalizing on the third in the
string of action.
For the Mavericks, freshman Kristen Znaniecki tallied
14 saves in the cage.
