UNION, N.J. (10/28/11) – Senior Olivia Triano scored a pair of goals to lead the Kean University field hockey team to a 4-1 victory over Vassar College in non-conference action on Friday evening.

Triano got the Cougars on the board just 3:14 into the game with her hard shot from the top of the circle off the corner pass from sophomore Stephanie Soares.

Just two minutes later, Triano's initial shot was saves and rookie Briana Mace knocked in the rebound for the 2-0 lead at the 5:29 mark.

Later in the first half, Triano and junior Kelly Bachovchin (pictured left) extended the lead to 4-0, with unassisted goals in the 25th and 33rd minute, respectively.

Vassar got on the board late in the game, as Enya Cunningham scored off a scrum in front of the left side of the game with just 3:48 left.
