Steve Vahalla led all players with 13 kills as the
Kean University men's volleyball team defeated NYU-Poly in
straight sets Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
The Cougars improved to 4-9 overall as they defeated NYU-Poly
25-15, 25-19, 25-21.
Vahalla (pictured left) had a .476 attack percentage in addition
to four digs, three aces and three assists in the win. Junior
Sam Haimann tallied 24 assists along with eight
digs, three aces and four combined blocks. Freshman
Arthur Kosakowski recorded five assisted blocks as
the Cougars tallied 13 combined blocks in the win.
Kean returns to NECVA-Metro competition on Thursday when they
host New Jersey City University at 7:30 p.m.
