Purchase, N.Y. (2/23/12) – The Kean University men's volleyball team remained perfect in conference action as they defeated Purchase College, 3-0, Thursday evening.

Returners Steve Vahalla and Christian Portera combined for 17 kills in the straight set win (25-10-25-11, 25-17).

With the win Kean improves to 9-2 overall and 7-0 in the Skyline Conference.

Rookie Ron Dunn collected 15 assists along with six digs while freshman Alex Barnhard added 11 assists. Sophomore Arthur Kosakowski recorded six assisted blocks as the Cougars collected 10 total blocks on the night.  In addition, Kean registered 10 service aces.

The Cougars get right back into action as they travel to Baruch College for four matches this weekend, including matchups with #5 Massachusetts Institute of Technology and #7 Stevens Institute of Technology.
