LANGHORNE, Pa. (3/20/12) – The Kean
University men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference
match to Philadelphia Biblical University, 3-1, on Tuesday
evening.
After the Cougars (17-5) won the first set, the Crimson Eagles
(10-13) won the final three sets to win in four games (29-31,
25-16, 25-18, 25-22).
Junior Steve Vahalla finished with 13 kills and
11 digs, while rookie John Cunningham and senior
Christian Portera each had 12 kills.
Freshmen Alex Barnhard totaled 35 assists and
classmate Ron Dunn added 14 assists.
The Cougars resume action on Friday, March 23, at the
Springfield College Tournament.
