Elizabethtown, Pa. (9/8/12) – Johns
Hopkins University used two late goals to break a scoreless tie and
defeat the Kean University men's soccer team by the final of
2-0, Saturday afternoon in the Blue Jay Classic.
Johns Hopkins improves to 1-1 while Kean drops to 2-2 this
season.
The Blue Jays scored what would be the game winner on a penalty
kick in the 83rd minute. Hopkins then scored
insurance with just under two minutes to play to seal the win.
Kean dominated with 20 shots (compared to 14), while holding an
8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Cougars will take on Denison University on Sunday, beginning
at 2 p.m.
