MADISON, N.J. (8/29/14) – Senior goalkeeper Nick Pavlichko earned his first shutout since 2011 as the Kean University men's soccer team fought Drew University to a scoreless draw on Saturday. The Cougars are now 0-1-1 on the year, while Drew earned its first blemish and is now 1-0-1.
Pavlichko (pictured left) and the Cougars faced six shots on goal from the Rangers and stopped them all.
On the other side of the pitch, Michael Reyes also kept his scoresheet clean for Drew by making three saves.
On the offensive side for Kean, Carmine Colasurdo and Robert Barrera both had two shots to lead the team in that category. Four players; Colasurdo, Santhy Montufar, Kelvin Flores and Pablo Valle put their shots on net for the Cougars.
Kean will kick off its home schedule on Tuesday against St. Joseph's College (Long Island) at 7:30 p.m. at Kean Alumni Stadium.
