SWARTHMORE, Pa. (9/5/15) – Sophomore Krista LaMaina scored three goals as the Kean University field hockey team rolled over Albright College 6-1 on Saturday. Marissa Robinson, Raykena Brown and Shauna LaMaina also scored for Kean in the opening game of the Connie Harnum Classic. It was Albright's first game of the season.

Shauna LaMaina (pictured left) got the scoring going with an assist from Robinson less than three minutes into the game. After that, Krista LaMaina scored three-straight. Teresa Carr helped on the first one, Brown assisted on the second and the third one was done unassisted by LaMaina.

Brown scored with an assist from Chelsea Mann to give Kean a 5-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Robinson had an unassisted goal before the Cougars finally called off the dogs. The Cougars earned 15 penalty corners in the game. Katie DiCarlo made seven saves to earn the win, and Robinson added a defensive save for Kean.

The Cougars, now 2-0 on the year, will seek their third-straight Connie Harnum Classic Title tomorrow vs. Wilkes University at 1:30 p.m.
