The Cougars (10-6) jumped out the gate with what would be the game-winner less than a minute into the action as senior Jordyn Bronsky finished a give-and-go down the middle from classmate Allison Coca just 25 seconds into the action.
Kean added to their lead as Brittany Morales (pictured left) scored off a direct kick in the 21st minute and Emily Jurcsek scored her first of two on the evening with four minutes to go in the half to put the Cougars out in front, 3-0, at the break.
Jurcsek wasted little time and netted her second of the night less than a minute into the second half and Kaitlyn Pallitto rounded out the scoring off a cross from Cori Dengel at 81:12.
Lauren Healey and Casey McDonnell each had a save in the combined shutout.
Jessica Cintron-Leonardo made four stops for St. Joseph's College-Long Island (5-10-1) in the first half while Samantha Wedderburn had three in the final 45 minutes in the loss.
Kean returns to NJAC action on Saturday when they travel to The College of New Jersey.
