Union, N.J. (10/26/16) – The Kean University women's soccer team used a balanced scoring attack to shutdown Ramapo College, 2-0, in the regular season finale on Wednesday.

Kean (11-7, 5-4 NJAC) earned the fifth seed in the upcoming New Jersey Athletic Conference tournament and will travel to take on #4 Stockton University on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Ospreys defeated the Cougars, 3-1, in the first NJAC matchup on the schedule earlier this season.
In tonight's action Kean scored almost identical goals in each half as Kaitlyn Pallitto (pictured left) scratched across the eventual game-winner on a give-and-go from Jordyn Bronsky down the middle, drawing out the keeper on the one-on-one, finishing around her for the 1-0 lead 28 minutes into the action.
The Cougars scored on almost the exact same play in the second half as Allison Coca provided the tally off a pass from Mallory Noordeloos.
In net, Lauren Healey and Elizabeth Harvell each made four stops.
Despite being called offsides 14 times in the contest, the Cougars held a 14-9 advantage in shots.
