Men's Basketball Drops Road Game to Roadrunners

MAHWAH, N.J. (12/10/16) – The Kean University men's basketball team fell to Ramapo College – which is receiving votes in the latest NCAA poll – in NJAC action on Saturday. The final score was 96-62.

Michael Summerer turned in a good game for the Cougars: he was 8-10 from the field, including 2-2 from three-point land for the big man. He added four assists, a steal and three rebounds in addition to his 18 points.

Justin Watson (pictured left) and Micah Kerr also shot above 50 percent and reached double digits. Watson scored 16 and Kerr added 13 for Kean.

14 different players scored for the Roadrunners – the Cougars have just 10 players on their roster. Ramapo was led by Christopher Mosley with 21 points, three rebounds, a block, a steal and two assists.

Ramapo remains perfect with an 8-0 record and is 5-0 in the NJAC. Kean is 0-8 and 0-5 in the league.

The men's basketball team will travel to Delaware Valley College on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup with the Rams at 7 p.m.
