Though they trailed 6-0 to start the second set, setter Kevin Barrow provided a spark off the bench to get Kean its first two points. An acrobatic dig by Connor Evans brought the crowd to their feet later in the set, but the Pride continued their good play and won 25-13.
After a Rosario kill, the Cougars led the third set 3-2. Kean kept pace in the third and was within striking distance for most of the set. The third did wind up being the closest contest of the evening, with Springfield prevailing 25-17.
Rosario finished with a team-best seven kills and hit .545 in the match for Kean.
