Farmingdale Downs Men's Lacrosse

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (3/29/17) – Farmingdale State College topped the Kean University men's lacrosse team in Skyline Conference action on Long Island on Wednesday. The final score was 20-5. The Rams improved to 9-1 and 3-0 in the conference. Kean is now 3-5 and 1-2 in the league.

The Rams opened the game with the first three goals. Kean cut the lead to one when Brian Mills assisted Cole Blackley and then scored a man-up goal with aid from Tom Kelly (pictured left) at 9:06 in a blistering start to the game.

The Rams thundered back with 16-straight goals to win the day. Ryan Wieczoreck led Farmingdale with five goals, and Mike Curry had four assists.

Blackley finished with a hat trick for the Cougars. Jason Andreadis also scored down the stretch for Kean.

The Cougars will return home on Saturday at 1 p.m. to host the College of Mt. St. Vincent in another Skyline contest.
