Farmingdale, N.Y. (3/31/18) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team led wire-to-wire while picking up their ninth straight win of the season by defeating host Farmingdale State College, 16-11, Saturday afternoon.

Danni LeSaint led all players with five goals on the day while Emily Stasuk and Morgan Graham each had a hat-trick in the win.

The Cougars (9-0) jumped out to a 4-0 lead behind three straight goals from LeSaint to start the contest. 

The Rams (1-6) chipped away and brought the deficit down to one (8-7) early in the second half.  Kean responded with three straight to add cushion. 

Nikki Apostolopoulos recorded seven saves in the win.

The Cougars head to the Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday.
