UNION, N.J. (10/24/19) – Zoe Strozewski finished with 16 kills and posted a .833 hitting percentage as the Kean University women's volleyball team swept FDU-Florham in straight sets, 3-0 on Thursday evening.
Sian Seeger totaled eight kills and eight digs for the Cougars who improve to 22-8 overall.
Nathalia Padron totaled four kills and five digs for the Devils who fall to 8-14 overall.
Strozewski averaged five kills per set for the match in which Kean hit .308 and committed just eight errors. The Cougars hitting percentage improved each set, topping out at .556 in the final set.
Gwen Hangey posted season-highs in assists (22), digs (7) and aces (3), while
Liz Hadly totaled four kills and
Amanda DeLio tallied seven digs.
Kayla Thornton and
Maggie Leahy each added three kills apiece for the Cougars.
