#3 Men's Volleyball Remains Unbeaten in CVC with Sweep of Eastern Mennonite

HARRISONBURG, Va. (3/29/19)- Ian Capp finished with eight kills, 15 assists and three digs as the #3 Kean University men's volleyball team remained unbeaten in the Continental Volleyball Conference and extended their conference regular season match winning streak to 22 matches with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-14) straight sets sweep of Eastern Mennonite University on Friday evening.

Capp posted a .778 hitting percentage for the Cougars who improve to 21-4 overall and 10-0 in the CVC. Travis Abele tallied a team-high five kills for the Royals who fall to 4-18 overall and 4-6 in the CVC.

Kean hit .417 for the match and didn't let their percentage dip below .390. The Cougars held EMU to less than a .130 hitting percentage, including negative percentage's in the first two sets.

Adam Casper totaled six kills and three block assists, while Nick Buseski finished with five kills, two digs and an ace. Jake Milnazik and Kamil Garbowski both tallied four kills, while Steven Zarzycki totaled two kills, two aces and one dig.

Head Coach Charlie Ginex and the Cougars will return to action tomorrow, Sat. Mar. 30th, in Buena Vista, Va. against the nationally-ranked Knights of Southern Virginia University for the regular season finale beginning at 1:00 p.m.
