Union, N.J. (9/28/19) – The Kean University field hockey team made it 10 in a row with a shutout win over visiting Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon.
#20 Kean improved to 10-1 on the season as they recorded their eighth shutout. The Mighty Macs fell to 5-6 with the loss.
The Cougars carried all the offensive momentum in the contest allowing just one shot all afternoon while registering 25 shots on goal for themselves. In addition, they collected 32 penalty corner opportunities. The offense used a balanced scoring attack (1, 2, 1, 3) tallying at least one goal in each quarter of action.
Ja'Carra Jackson led all players with two goals on the afternoon while Jenna Patrone and Bethany Garcia each finished with a goal and an assist.
Every single Cougar saw action in the contest.
Kean turns right back around and will host St. Joseph's College of Maine on Sunday at noon.
