HARTFORD, Conn. (9/28/19) – The Kean University women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to four matches with straight set sweeps of Trinity College (CT) and UMass-Boston at a tri-match hosted by Trinity College on Saturday.

Sedona Gaard totaled seven kills and 12 digs, while
Jesse Larkin and
Zoe Strozewski each added seven kills apiece as the Cougars (13-6) swept the host Bantams (5-6) in the opening match of the day.
Kean hit .151 for the match, with a .394 hitting percentage in the final set.
Brianna Calvano handed out 29 assists, while
Kortnee Nelson (13) and
Amanda DeLio (12) both collected double-digit digs.

Strozewski finished with eight kills and three blocks, while Gaard totaled four kills, 11 digs and three aces as the Cougars (14-6) swept the Beacons (4-9) in Kean's final match of the day.
Morgan Hall added four kills, while Calvano handed out 21 assists and Nelson totaled 14 digs.
On the afternoon, Nelson recorded her 1400th career dig, Strozewski surpassed 500 career kills and Calvano moved into third place all-time in career assist passing
