Jamison Tallies Career-High in Season Finale Loss to Rowan

GLASSBORO, N.J. (2/19/20) – Jailen Jamison tallied a career-high 32 points as the Kean University men's basketball team dropped their season finale to Rowan University, 87-78 on Wednesday evening.

Austin Kearney finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Profs who improve to 14-11 overall and 10-8 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Tyrese Johnson recorded a career-high 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the Cougars who finish their season at 6-19 overall and 3-15 in the NJAC.

Rowan opened the contest on a 21-10 run over the first seven minutes. Kean cut into the Profs lead by bringing their advantage down to 25-19 with 9:08 remaining. Rowan closed out the half on a 21-11 run to hold a 46-28 lead at the break.

The second half saw Jamison and Johnson combine for 27 of the Cougars 50 points. Jamison totaled 18 and Johnson tallied nine points and six rebounds as Rowan maintained their double-digit advantage in the second stanza.

Jeff Cooper totaled 11 points and four rebounds in his final collegiate game, while Myles Owens and Mario Gunn each recorded eight points apiece. Gunn pulled down nine caroms in the loss.
