Reading, Pa. (3/11/20) – Senior Danni LeSaint netted a career-high nine goals as the Kean University women's lacrosse team pushed past Albright College, 18-13 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cougars (3-1) led wire-to-wire as LeSaint scored the game's first and last goals.  Sophomore Emily Bretschneider put Kean ahead 3-0 with two back-to-back goals less than a minute apart.  Albright (4-3) pulled within one four minutes later, but that would be as close as the Lions would come as Kean pushed out to a 12-7 halftime advantage. 

Kean continued their offensive push in the final 30 minutes adding 6 more goals, including the final three of the contest.

Sarah Wagner registered three goals while Katie Pileggi, Amanda Ehrhart and Bretschneider all had two.

Senior Josie Pagano tallied 10 saves in the win.

The Cougars are slated to travel to Muhlenberg in their next contest on Friday.
