UNION, N.J. (10/23/21) - Four Cougars posted double-digit kills as the Kean University women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine matches with a tri-match sweep of Drew University and Arcadia University on Saturday afternoon.

Kean 3, Drew 0
The Cougars (13-9) hit .300 in their straight-sets sweep of the Rangers (17-7). Taylor Micheaux totaled 12 kills and posted a .522 hitting percentage with no errors.

Ashley Smith and Kayla Thornton both tallied seven kills apiece. Anne Beckemeyer added six kills and three aces, while Kylie Brua totaled 27 assists and nine digs.

On defense, Sedona Gaard finished with 15 digs.

Kean totaled 37 kills and seven errors on 100 swings. Drew finished with 27 kills and 14 errors on 109 swings for a .119 hitting percentage.

Kean 3, Arcadia 0
The Cougars (14-9) hit .358 with seven errors in their straight-sets sweep of the Knights (11-17). Smith finished with 11 kills and a .526 hitting percentage, while

Thornton tallied 10 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Micheaux posted eight kills, while Beckemeyer and Morgan Hall each tallied six kills apiece.

Bura handed out 27 assists, while DeLio collected 19 digs.

Arcadia finished with 46 kills and 17 errors on 128 swings for a .227 hitting percentage.

Head Coach Don Perkins and the Cougars will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 26th, hosting the Profs of Rowan University at 7:00 p.m.
