Brianna Shaw and
Amanda Davis each won an event as the Kean University women's swimming team fell to Rowan University, 184-69 on Friday afternoon.

Chris Swenson. "They continue to impress me with their focus and dedication to getting faster each week".
The Profs improve to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, while the Cougars fall to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC.
Powell won the 100 Breast (1:12.04), while Shaw captured the 200 Fly (2:13.68) and Davis took first in the 500 free (5:36.01)
Powell took second in the 200 Breast (2:37.77), while Davis placed second in the 200 Free (2:07.76). Shaw tallied second place finishes in the 200 Back (2:19.41) and the 200 IM (2:21.85). Powell and Shaw teamed up with
Sian Seeger and
Katie Pileggi for a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:58.20).
"Rowan is going to be one of the best teams we'll see this year and we didn't back down from that challenge".
Coach Swenson and the Cougars will return to the pool in Montclair, N.J. on Tuesday, Nov. 9
th, against the Red Hawks of Montclair State University at 5:00 p.m.
