Galloway, N.J. (3/17/21) – Stockton University used three second half goals to propel past the Kean University women's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon by the final of 3-0 in NJAC action.
Stockton (1-0-2, 1-0-2 NJAC) was able to hold the Cougars (0-1-1, 0-1-1 NJAC) to just one shot on the day.
Despite the lack of offense, Kean's defense was able to keep the game scoreless through the first 56 minutes of action. The Ospreys then got what would be the winning goal from Kiersten Reszkowski who lofted in a long shot that was screened by crossing players. Stockton added another 12 minutes later from Jessica Heitmann and added insurance in the 81st minute with a header off a corner kick.
Marissa Cook made six stop for Kean.
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Montclair State University at 11 a.m.
