MONTCLAIR, N.J. (3/23/21) – Ashley Smith totaled a team-high nine kills as the Kean University women's volleyball team bowed out of the 2020-21 New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball tournament with a straight sets loss to Montclair State University, 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

Leah Higgins totaled 15 kills for the Red Hawks who improve to 5-1 overall and advance to Thursday's NJAC championship match against Stockton. Kayla Thornton totaled eight kills and four digs for the Cougars who finish the spring season at 4-3 overall.

Sedona Gaard totaled 11 digs and five kills, while Kylie Brua finished with 19 assists, four kills and four digs. Michelle Froehlich collected 12 digs and two kills, while Morgan Hall finished with two kills and one assist. Amanda DeLio tallied nine digs and, while Sian Seeger recorded six.
