UNION, N.J. (1/22/22) – Ethan Stith came in off the bench to finish with 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three blocks as the Kean University men's basketball team dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to Rowan University, 96-78 on Saturday afternoon.
Arian Azemi recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals for the Profs who improve to 15-3 overall and 8-3 in the NJAC.
Letrell West totaled 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Cougars who fall to 10-6 overall and 5-6 in the NJAC.
The Profs opened with a 21-6 run and never looked back in the wire-to-wire victory. Kean shaved the deficit down to nine twice in the first half, but Rowan eventually pushed the lead to 20 points just before halftime.
The second half saw Rowan maintain their halftime advantage as Kean could only get the lead down to 13, but the Profs extended their lead back to 20 before the final buzzer.
JD Daniels and
Jailen Jamison both tallied nine points, while
Jalen Hudgins finished with eight points and six rebounds.
Dorien DePina collected seven points, while
Nate Lyles recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and four rebounds.
