NEW YORK, N.Y. (1/7/22) – Amanda Davis won three events as the Kean University women's swimming team opened 2022 with a 59-34 non-conference victory over Hunter College on Friday evening.

The Cougars improve to 4-4 overall, while the Hawks fall to 4-1 overall.
Davis won the 200 Free (2:10.25), 100 Free (1:02.95) and 500 Free (5:54.31).
Teagan Powell captured two events, winning the 50 Free (27.60) and the 100 Breast (1:11.67).
Kat Riggins,
Krisztina Balogh and
Isabel DeSanno each won an event. Riggins won the 1000 Free (13:26.12), Balogh took first in the 200 IM (2:30.68) and DeSanno captured the 100 Fly (1:11.60). Powell, DeSanno and Balogh teamed up with
Katie Pileggi to take first in the 200 Medley Relay (2:05.94).
