Union, N.J. (10/18/22) – The Kean University women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over John Jay College on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cougars (2-0) swept doubles action to jump out to a 3-0 lead.
Kean then picked up another four points with wins at 3rd-6th singles for their first home win of the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Senior Jessica Kobilas earned wins at third doubles and sixth singles as she celebrated Senior Day. With a midyear graduation set, Kobilas will only be with the team in the fall term.
Bianca Ortega collected wins at first doubles and third singles while Alexa Quintanilla partnered with her for a first doubles win while earning a fourth singles win of her own.
