CAMDEN, N.J. (10/8/22) – Fanor Arango scored the lone goal as the Kean University men's soccer team earned a 1-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference victory over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday afternoon.
Matt O'Shea assisted on the game-winner as the Cougars improve to 5-5-3 overall and 1-1-2 in the NJAC. Sean Boen totaled seven saves for the Scarlet Raptors who fall to 6-6-3 overall and 3-1-0 in the NJAC.
Arango helped Kean pick up their first victory in the NJAC with his goal in the 77th minute that came off an O'Shea pass to the L box. Arango beat the keeper in the upper right corner.
Kean led on shots (17-14) and shots on goal (8-7).
Arango totaled four shots, while
Santi Alzate both posted three shots.
