STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (2/4/22) – Brianna Shaw won two events as the Kean University women's swimming team rolled to an 83-64 victory over Division II College of Staten Island on Friday evening.

The Cougars improve to 6-5 overall, while the Dolphins fall to 2-6 overall.
Shaw placed first in the 200 Free (2:05.92) and the 100 Back (1:05.30) events. She teamed up with
Teagan Powell,
Sian Seeger and
Katie Pileggi for a top finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:58.06).
Individually, Powell, Seeger,
Krisztina Balogh and
Amanda Davis each won an event. Powell placed first in the 100 Free (59.41), Seeger won the 50 Free (25.98), Balogh took first in the 100 Fly (1:08.55) and Davis recorded a top finish in the 200 IM (2:22.19).
"We raced well and set ourselves up to finish the season on a high note tomorrow vs. TCNJ".
Coach Swenson and the Cougars will return to the pool tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 5
th, hosting the College of New Jersey Lions for senior day beginning at 1:00 p.m.
