Union, N.J. (3/2/22) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team suffered a 16-1 defeat to visiting Stevens on Wednesday afternoon in their season opener.

The Ducks (2-0) were led by Zoe Cook who recorded seven goals on the afternoon while adding an assist.  Camryn Rogers added four goals, five draw controls and four groundballs, while Julieann Murphy recorded three goals and an assist.

Kean scratched across their goal in the waning seconds as Kat Palaia scooped up a loose ball and near the goal.

The Cougars head south on their spring break trip and will square off with Christopher Newport University on Saturday.
