LANCASTER, Pa. (9/7/2022) – Quadri Okunola scored in the 61
st minute as the Kean University men's soccer team drew a 1-1 tie with #19 Franklin and Marshall College on Wednesday evening.
Erick Chicas tallied an assist for the Cougars who improve to 2-0-1 overall. Oscar Horwitz scored for the Diplomats who improve to 2-0-1 overall.
After a scoreless first half Okunola tapped the ball into an open net, just seconds before a collision with the F&M keeper, to put Kean in front at 1-0.
The Cougars held the advantage until the 89
th minute when an F&M equalizer came in the form of a header goal off a crossed in ball.
