UNION, N.J. (1/14/23) – Griffin Barker totaled a double-double with 27 points and 16 rebounds as the Kean University men's basketball team dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to Montclair State University, 86-81 on Saturday afternoon.

Despite a close result, Kean never led in the contest.
Barker and West combined for 18 points during a back and forth first half. The Red Hawks knocked down seven triples and shot 36.8% in the opening half which proved to be the difference in the 38-32 deficit at halftime.
