GLASSBORO, N.J. (10/13/23) – The #13 Kean University field hockey team (7-4, 1-2 NJAC) dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to #23 Rowan University, 3-2 (7-6, 2-1 NJAC) on Friday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!

• The Profs scored three times over the first 40 minutes, including back-to-back goals in the first quarter.
• Kean broke through in the 42^nd minute when Laura Stump scored off a Peyton Mann insert during a corner situation.
• The Cougars added a late goal when Caroline Pease scored her first career goal on a Mann cross in the 58^th minute.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Morgan Stump totaled six shots and recorded a defensive save.
• Stump posted five shots.
• Mann, Maddison Gonzales and Madison Brege all tallied three shots apiece.
• Jenna Flemings made four saves.
• Kean led on shots (26-12) and shots on goal (18-8).
