Lancaster, Pa. (10/28/23) – The Kean University football team fell to host Franklin & Marshall College by the final of 40-14 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Cougars fell into a 21-0 deficit midway through the second quarter, but broke up the shutout with a touchdown just before halftime. Dazzy Iannuzzio took a short pass up the left side for a 15 yard completion and the touchdown.
Kean scored the final points of the afternoon as the Cougars started with good field position thanks to a blocked punt by Jason DiBlasio. Christian Rando finished the drive with a one yard plunge for a touchdown. Rando completed the two point conversion with a pass to Iannuzzio for what would be the final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Christian Bujno finished with six catches for 54 yards while adding four returns (one punt, three kickoff) for a total of 87 return yards. Defensively Gabe Robles and Raymond Gorny each had seven tackles.
